Sebastian joined the High-Tech Gründerfonds team as a controller in July 2025. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Technical University of Cologne in 2021 and then gained a year of initial experience in the VC industry through an internship and by helping to organize the RHIVE Conference 2022. From 2022 to 2024, he completed his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Cologne, including an exchange semester at WU Vienna. During this time, he was able to further deepen his experience in the VC and PE industry as a working student and then as a consultant. In his free time, Sebastian enjoys various sports and walking his dog.

What inspires you outside of work?
Sports, because every sport requires discipline, perseverance, and creativity.
Where is a special place for you?
Oostkapelle in the Netherlands has been a place of relaxation and a little second home for me for years.
