CV
Max is an Investment Manager and part of the HTGF Digital Tech team. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business studies in Aachen and was able to gain practical experience at DB Schenker in Sydney and at BMW Group in Munich. During his master studies at the University of Wuppertal in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, he worked as a startup scout at STARTPLATZ in Cologne and Düsseldorf. Shortly after his master’s degree, he founded his own startup in the field of B2B software.

What drives you?
Working every day with ambitious people who want to change the world with their products, or at least to make it a better place.
What has been your most important milestone so far?
My own founding experience with valideffect. As the founder of a B2B software startup, the learning curve was very steep in a short period of time.
What is special about your work at a venture capitalist?
Dynamism, variety and a high level of (personal) responsibility in everyday work. Building networks also plays a very important role.
What distinguishes the HTGF team?
Concentrated knowledge from 20 years of venture capital with now more than 100 employees who proactively share and pass on their experience.
