CV
Gregor holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Technical University of Munich and is a former Manage & More fellow of UnternehmerTUM. After several stays in China, for example at BMW Brilliance Automotive, and a one-year start-up experience, he is now a principal in the Industrial, Climate and Deep Tech Team of High-Tech Gründerfonds. His focus is on industrial software solutions in the areas of R&D, automation and energy as well as on supporting founders on their way to product-market fit.

What drives you?
My curiosity & enthusiasm for technical innovations and their implementation in commercially successful products by outstanding teams.
What fascinates you about pre-seed/seed phases?
There is still no playbook, a lot of uncertainty and many pivots. It is a magical moment when teams reach product market fit for the first time.
What distinguishes the HTGF team?
We are a very diverse & unpretentious team that is passionate about new innovations & technologies and is highly committed to supporting our founding teams.
What inspires you outside of work?
I do a lot of sport, e.g. swimming or kitesurfing. In addition, my time in China has given me a passion for Asian cuisine and I cook a lot.
