Markus Kreßmann is a partner at HTGF and has been involved in setting up the most active and largest seed fund in Europe since 2007. He has accompanied all fund generations and helped design the HTGF Opportunity Fund as a growth vehicle.

In his role as an investor, he has successfully completed about 350 transactions across all investment phases, including 35 exits and IPOs. Markus Kreßmann actively supports his portfolio as a shareholder and board member, with a particular focus on scaling and internationalization. With NFON AG, he led a portfolio company onto the trading floor and into the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for HTGF for the first time in 2018. He also accompanied the first “Green IPO” on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market in Stockholm. Particularly successful exits from his portfolio include Protected Networks to SolarWinds (backed by Silver Lake Partners & Thoma Bravo / 2018), (grandcentrix to Vodafone (2019), Quentic to AMCS (backed by Insights Partners & Clearlake / 2022) and Dracoon to Kiteworks (2024). He was also responsible for exits such as Enscape to Chaos (backed by TA Associates / 2022) with the highest multiple in HTGF fund history and the Unicorn financing at Egym (2024).

Previously, Markus Kreßmann was a management consultant at a leading management and technology consultancy. He was the founder of two startups & gained Venture Capital experience early on. Markus Kreßmann holds a degree in business administration from the University of Göttingen. He has also been enthusiastic about technology topics & equity investments for around 30 years and is a private crypto & whisky investor.
